Seven kilometres from Alleppey, and a world away from it
Pooppallys sits just off the Alleppey–Changanacherry road at Pooppally Junction, close to Nedumudy — near enough for an easy taxi ride, far enough to feel like the backwaters proper.
Route
On the Alleppey–Changanacherry road, turn right at Pooppally Junction and travel about half a kilometre to reach the homestay. It's roughly 7 km from Alleppey town, just before Nedumudy as you come from Alleppey.
Getting here
By road: Alleppey is about 55 km from Kochi (Cochin) and roughly 150 km from Trivandrum, the state capital. Pooppally Junction is 7 km from Alleppey town on the Alleppey–Changanacherry road.
By rail: Get off at Alleppey railway station on the Cochin–Trivandrum line, or at Changanacherry railway station, about 17 km away.
By air: Cochin (Nedumbassery) International Airport is around 85 km from the homestay.
